Substitute Teachers Are Needed!
- Teacher substitutes with a valid Montana teaching certificate receive $77 a day and non-certified substitute teachers are paid $72 daily. Support staff substitutes are paid an hourly rate of $9.00. This is an excellent way to supplement your income.
- All substitutes must complete the necessary application and employment forms. A fingerprint background check is required for all applicants. Substitutes must bring in proof of a recent TB test.
Substitute Paraprofessional Are Needed!
- Duties may include working one-on-one with high needs students. Job description is available.
- Applicants must have two years of college or paraprofessional certification.
- Salary depends on level of certification.
Lockwood School is always looking for qualified paraprofessional applicants.
- Five hours per day, five days per week
- Applicants must have two years of college or paraprofessional certification.
- Salary depends on level of certification. $10.39/hour minimum.

General Staffing Information
Any employee or volunteer seeking assignment at Lockwood School must have this form which authorizes a complete background investigation. This is necessary to protect the safety and welfare of the children in the Lockwood School District. The fingerprint card and a check for $27.25 is needed for processing.

Fingerprints are now required with background checks.
Background Check Fingerprinting Process
- Applicant will have fingerprinting done.
•Local law enforcement agencies can provide fingerprinting services.
•Crime Prevention Center @ 2910 3rd Avenue North, 247-8590 Kenco located at 3416 1st Avenue North.
•A $10 fee will be charged at the Crime Prevention Center or Security by Kenco location. - The fingerprint card along with your check for $27.25 made payable to Montana Criminal Records will be sent by Lockwood Schools to Montana Criminal Records in Helena.
- Under the laws the report sent to the district may be shared with other districts or entities with the signature of the individual. A person’s report may be copied and given to the individual.
- If the applicant has already undergone the fingerprinting process the authorization to release must be filled out and signed by the applicant. Please indicate to where the request should be sent.
